Evergreen Tile Mortar is a tile adhesive for the permanent fixing of ceramic and vitrified tiles.




Evergreen Tile Mortar is a prepacked cementitious tile adhesive which ensures excellent bond on crete and plastered surfaces.



Surface Preparation: All surface must be sound and throughly cleaned before Evergreen Tile Mortar is applied. All traces of greases or oil must be removed with FM DEGREASER. All loose particles of mortar and points must be removed.

Mixing: Evergreen Tile Mortar should be mixed with water in the ratio of 3:1 (Evergreen Tile Mortar: Water) by volume. Water can be reduced or increased slightly to get required consistency. A slow speed drill attached with a suitable mixing paddle is recommended. Hand mixing may be allowed if drill/paddle is not available.

Fixing of Tiles: Evergreen Tile Mortar should spread on the substrate to a uniform thickness of 4-5mm. Choose work area so that they can be tiled in adhesive. Open wet time is 25 mins. @ 30ºC. Coverage is approx 1m² for 3 to 4 kg. of Evergreen Tile Mortar depending on thickness.

Finishing: Remove excess adhesive with a damp cloth before material has set. Joint grouting may be commenced 24 hours after tiles have been laid.

Additional Information: For filling tile joint FAIRFIX TG is used.

20 kg of woven bag. 20 kg of Evergreen Tile Mortar will cover 5-6m2 with recommended thickness of 4 to 5 mm.

Evergreen Tile Mortar will have a shelf life of 24 months in unopened containers when kept in dry conditions at a temperature between 5°C to 45°C. Storage at higher temperature or high humidity may reduce shelf life.
